Job descriptionThis is a fixed term position until 30 June 2028. Ko tau na i tenei turanga - What you'll bring to the role : Take ownership of this cloud based Senior Infrastructure Engineer position using your varied skillset, and your proven ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders both within and outside the organisation. To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have : Proven experience in a senior position working on Cloud systems or platform engineering Strong understanding of web server software and web application deployments Extensive problem-solving skills in a complex IT environment Good knowledge of the relevant key technologies including Azure, Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft server The ability to break down complex information into plain English for a wide audience Significant experience in managing, configuring, and operating IT Infrastructure, and maintaining infrastructure services and components. The salary range for this role is $120,335 - $133,706 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role. This position provides expertise to enable highly available systems and facilitates efficient and effective ICT systems nationally.
You will work with contractors to migrate systems to Azure, ensuring our systems are fit for purpose.
You will be responsible for Cloud Governance and Cloud Security.
You will bring significant experience in Cloud Technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, and an excellent understanding of the operational requirements of a complex, multi-vendor, multi-faceted production environment.
A relevant qualification would be an advantage.
