We’re looking for an Operations Analyst who can bring the numbers to life, understands the story behind them, and is energised by turning insights into action.
You’ll play a key role in helping our leaders make faster, smarter, evidence-based decisions across our growing national network of care homes and villages.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with our Chief Operating Officer, Group Care, Quality and Risk Manager, HR Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Finance team.
- Analyse operational and financial performance, identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities across our care homes and villages.
- Bring an entrepreneurial lens and approach to reviewing opportunities and alternatives and solving problems.
- Develop and maintain integrated dashboards, reports, and predictive insights that drive decision-making, using information from finance, payroll, HR, and clinical systems.
- Track key levers including occupancy, wage-to-revenue ratio, acuity, staffing, rosters, leave liabilities, incidents, compliance and audit status.
- Partner with facility managers and clinical leaders to translate data into practical improvements and solutions.
- Test assumptions, challenge inertia, and bring clarity where there’s complexity.
- Utilise the latest tools in terms of AI, machine learning, and reporting tools to turn information into knowledge.
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality, automation, workflows and system integration across the organisation.
- Be involved in developing financial models and scenario analysis to support business cases and strategic planning.

A degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Accounting, or Finance (or equivalent).An entrepreneurial approach and spiritStrong technical skills across Power BI, Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables) and experience connecting multiple data sources.Strong commercial acumen and financial literacyIT expertise, knowledge and experienceExceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilityExperience with pulling information from a variety of systems and converting data into action, not just reportsA practical understanding of operations and financial driversA structured yet creative problem-solving approach and attention to detail.Ability to communicate insights simply, honestly and with impactA mindset of continuous evaluation, improvement and evolution, not blameThe ability to build models to compare various commercial opportunitiesWhy Promisia
