Marketing Assistant (Newmarket, Auckland)

The Opportunity :

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Marketing Assistant in Design and Digital to join our Corporate Marketing team in Newmarket. This role is a full-time position on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is ideal for a passionate visual communicator with a strong foundation in digital design and content creation.

Key responsibilities :

• Design Proficiency : Demonstrated ability to use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) to produce high-quality digital and print assets.
• Digital Marketing & Content Production : Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS). Desirable experience with using Craft, SilverStripe, SharePoint, Mailchimp and similar systems such as Shopify, WordPress, Wix or Squarespace. Fundamentally, understanding how these management systems work.
• Design & Visual Principles : Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, and grid structure with meticulous attention to detail. Experience adapting or designing multilingual or translated content is an advantage.
• Communication Skills : Able to communicate and collaborate clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders (design, marketing, sales, and management teams).
