About the role : As a

Field Technician

, you'll be the face of our business, supporting farmers and commercial clients across the Central Districts (Waiuru down to Wellington). You'll spend your days out on the road installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Levno gear, ensuring our customers get the best out of their technology.

This is not a desk job and every day is different! One day you'll be installing agri hardware on a farm, the next you'll be fault-finding at a commercial site. With several different jobs on each day, you'll need to be practical, adaptable, and focused on delivering quality service.

You'll be based somewhere between Waiuru and Wellington, with the ability to travel around the lower North Island. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Day to day in the role, you will :

Install, service, and refurbish agri hardware on farms and commercial sites.

Fault find and fix equipment on site, using a range of tools and technology.

Review and validate customer estimates for repairs and installations.

Operate tools safely and efficiently, including drills, cabling equipment, and diagnostic tools.

Provide clear, professional communication with customers, building trust and strong relationships.

Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products and services.

Represent Levno with professionalism as a trusted brand ambassador.

Manage your own time effectively to complete multiple jobs each day.

You will have :

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Practical, hands-on problem-solving ability, confident with tools and wiring (we provide full training).

A full, clean driver's licence and confidence driving a 4WD Ute to rural and remote sites.

Reliability, punctuality, and an eye for detail.

Customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with farmers and clients.

Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical fitness and resilience to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Basic IT skills for equipment updates, reporting, and record-keeping.

A team-oriented attitude with the ability to also work independently.

Desirable :

Knowledge of farming and agricultural environments.

Previous experience in a similar technician role.

Awareness of health, safety, and compliance requirements in rural settings.
