- The eGate Replacement Project is a key initiative in Customs' digital transformation journey, aimed at strengthening identity verification and border security.
As part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you'll contribute to delivering innovative solutions that shape the future of New Zealand's border operations.In this role, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of the eGate Replacement and biometric capability implementation across four airports.
Operating in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, you'll ensure successful deployment by 30 June 2027.Key responsibilities include :
Leading implementation planning and delivery across all workstreamsCoordinating with Customs, third-party suppliers, airport companies, and partner agenciesManaging risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure smooth deploymentSupporting operational readiness and transition to business-as-usualEnsuring compliance with health, safety, and wellbeing standardsAbout you | Ko wai koeYou're an experienced project manager with a strong background in technical and equipment deployments.You thrive in dynamic environments and are confident navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.You'll bring :
