Library Assistant - Geraldine X2

The Role

We are looking for two vibrant and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about connecting with the community and fostering a love of learning through the support of our physical and digital library collections.

As the first point of contact for members of our libraries, you will play an essential role in the delivery of our awesome services.

You will be an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude and thrive when delivering exceptional frontline customer service.

When it comes to all things tech, you will have it covered.

Ideal candidates will have relevant experience working within a library or similar customer-focused environment.

If you enjoy helping people as much as you enjoy reading and talking about books, this is the perfect role for you!

There are two vacancies available at the Geraldine Library & Service Centre.

One position will work Monday to Wednesday (20 hours per week), and the other will work Wednesday to Friday (20 hours per week).

Both roles will also share Saturday morning duties (3.5 hours) on a fortnightly roster.
