Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job descriptionAdminister contracts (NZS, NEC, and bespoke) across multiple civil projects Manage variations, progress claims, and final accounts with accuracy and confidence Monitor project financials, revenue recognition, and margin performance Partner with Project Managers to ensure proactive cost control and risk management Lead commercial reporting and advise on claims, entitlements, and dispute avoidance Mentor delivery teams to strengthen commercial awareness and accountability Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline 7+ years' experience in civil infrastructure or heavy construction Proven background in contract administration and live project financial management Strong understanding of NZS and NEC contract forms Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills (Desirable) Chartered or working toward MRICS / MNZIQS Competitive remuneration and relocation support Leadership role with visibility across major infrastructure programmes Collaborative, values-driven culture with real career progression opportunities

This is a senior commercial leadership role — focused on live project delivery, not estimation. You'll be the key link between site and finance, driving accountability and profitability across your portfolio.
