- About the Role
- Our team is looking for a Social Worker who wants to make a difference, providing bio-psycho-social assessments and therapeutic social work interventions with our inpatients at Waitakere Hospital.This is a part time (0.85 FTE) social worker role working on our acute medical wards at Waitakere hospital.
The successful candidate will be client and family / whanau - centered in their approach and have excellent counselling skills, including some experience working with grief and loss.
They will have a thorough understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and experience working with people of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
They will be effective communicators and a key member of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team.Within this role you will receive :
