Assistant Director, Business Continuity Management – Contract role
Lead and mentor BCM specialists to drive the execution of business continuity management activities.
Develop and implement strategies for business continuity and operational resiliency to ensure the company can withstand and recover from disruptions.
Develop and enhance BCM framework, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Oversee the operationalisation of the BCM review cycle for Risk Analysis & Review, Business Impact Analysis, Recovery Strategies and Recovery Procedures.
Serve as lead advisory for BCM related matters to all business units and stakeholders including risk and control groups and senior management, coordinating incident response and recovery efforts.
Lead senior management and board reporting matters.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations.
Drive resilience culture by leading communication, education, and training initiatives that promote awareness and ownership across all levels.
Continuously improve processes, procedures, and tools, exploring innovative solutions with emerging threats.
Stay ahead of evolving industry trends, regulations, and technologies to maintain a dynamic and forward-looking BCM function.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to promote BCM awareness and align initiatives with strategic objectives.
Requirements
At least 8 years of relevant experience in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Crisis Management (CM) and Operational Resilience
Strong planning and analytical skills with an eye for details
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and stakeholder management skills
Working experience in a scientific or biomedical related company will be advantageous
