Support the Senior Accountant and Director through independent accountability, to achieve the sales and growth, client management, client retention and operational objective of the business.

Benefits Competitive salary package based on individual experience levels Opportunities available for professional development and career growth Supportive and collaborative environment aimed at enhancing team performance Training opportunities provided to ensure continuous skill enhancement Tasks Responsible for preparing end of year financial statements, along with the Income tax and other compliance returns for various range of clients : Company, Trust, Non-Profit Organisation, Sole traders and Rental Properties Review of end of year accounts and tax returns from Review of the GST returns prepared by the outsourcing team Preparation of cashflow forecasts, budget, and Business Plans Client meetings Manage IRD filing % Manage the relationship and contact with Clients Set business goals and research new target market Work with the director to implement the strategy and plan to grow the firm Requirements Demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills Minimum of 2 years of Public Practice experience, along with CA / CPA Certification or intending to complete.

Strong computer skills, along with proven experience in all areas of Xero / Xero Practice Manager / Xero Tax NZICA / CPA or relevant accounting qualification Demonstrated experience of delivering the key accountabilities Demonstrated experience working independently without supervision Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products Working knowledge and experience in financial packages Strong written and oral communication skills A strong customer focus A team player who is willing to help in different parts of the team when other team members are busy Interested?
