You'll be advising on complex issues and helping deliver on the Government's expectations for employment relations.Our team has a system leadership role, therefore the ability to take a broad view and think at a system level about employment relations issues is key.Whether you're an experienced ER professional or HR generalist with understanding of good employment relations practice, if you're ready to contribute and gain experience in a central agency, we want to hear from you.
- The Role
- Day to day, you will :
- Hold a portfolio of Public Service agencies that you will act as the relationship lead for, working as the point of contact within the Commission for employment relations advice.
- Ensure agency collective bargaining approaches are aligned with Government expectations.
- Advise the Manager Workforce and Employment Relations on the approval of agency collective bargaining strategies, terms of settlement, and collective agreements.
- When required, provide written updates to Ministers on collective bargaining progress.
- Contribute employment relations expertise to cross-Commission / group initiatives.
- Help build employment relations capability across the team and wider system.
