Lead exciting NPD projects creating innovative products!

At Scitex, we're partnering with a well-established food manufacturer to find an experienced NPD Technologist who's ready to take the lead on product development projects during a 12-month maternity cover.

This role offers a chance to make a visible impact — taking ownership of customer-led innovation and new product creation, particularly across flour-based and bakery formulations.

You'll join a supportive and collaborative environment, with the backing of a talented Australian technical team and the local Sales Manager.

What you will do

Lead and deliver product development projects for a national customer base.

Partner closely with customers to develop innovative, high-performing flour-based products.

Manage concept-to-launch processes, including trials, testing, and formulation improvement.

Work cross-functionally with Sales and Operations to ensure successful outcomes.

What we are looking for

Proven background in food product development, ideally in bakery or flour-based applications.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills – you'll enjoy being customer-facing.

Ability to balance hands-on formulation with project leadership and commercial understanding.

Available for a 12-month fixed term (starting January

• for handover).
