The Principal is the spiritual, educational, and operational leader of the school.
This role requires someone who can shape and implement a vision of excellence that balances academic achievement with Christian values and cultural engagement.
You will lead and develop staff, oversee curriculum delivery, ensure compliance with educational legislation, and build strong connections across the wider community.

The Person We Seek
A committed and active Christian, with a personal relationship with God that is evident in daily life and leadership
Skilled in building strong partnerships with iwi, whanau, and local churches
Confident in promoting te reo Maori and tikanga Maori within the school
Experienced across a wide range of year levels (primary through secondary)
Able to inspire, mentor, and guide a team of around 22 staff while fostering collaboration and accountability
Someone with clear vision, strong educational philosophy, and the ability to balance strategic leadership with day-to-day school operations
The Selection Criteria
Recognised teaching qualification and current practising certificate with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand
Demonstrated senior leadership experience (e.g., Deputy Principal, Principal, or equivalent)
A strong and active Christian faith, demonstrated through a personal relationship with God and lived out in daily life and leadership
Proven ability to uphold, nurture, and actively promote the Christian special character of the school
Knowledge of and respect for tikanga Maori, with confidence to integrate cultural responsiveness into school operations
Evidence of ongoing professional development in leadership, curriculum, and culturally responsive practice
