About the Role :

With the introduction of new regulatory requirements in the NZ Insurance industry, the Risk & Compliance Specialist will play a pivotal role in Autosure’s risk management programme. Acting as the SME, you will provide guidance to the management team while overseeing regulatory compliance, internal controls, and complaint management. You will ensure the business adheres to the highest standards of risk mitigation and fair customer outcomes, all while maintaining Autosure's integrity and resilience.

Key responsibilities include :

• Leading the implementation of Autosure’s risk management framework.
• Managing and reporting on regulatory compliance, including with the RBNZ and FMA.
• Conducting risk assessments and audits to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
• Monitoring, investigating, and managing compliance breaches, incidents, and complaints.
• Supporting business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Working with the Group Compliance Manager on policy development, compliance training and risk impacts.
