Multimedia Design & Communications

We are looking for a Multimedia Design & Communications superstar to join our Design team based at Purapura Whetu Trust, a kaupapa Maori health and wellbeing NGO.This role will include a large proportion of content creation and administrative tasks to help support the team, with opportunities to develop in areas of design and communications.Relevant qualifications, skills, and experience are desired.Role objectives : Develop and maintain branding and multimedia communications for the organisation in alignment with our vision, mission, and core values.Help promote our services to improve access and choice to health and wellbeing support services for whanau.Ensure that it is easy for whanau, health professionals, and others to find information about our services, make referrals, contact us, stay up to date, and engage with our organisation's news, activities, events, and community.Support internal communications, processes, and initiatives with suitable media design as required.The ideal candidate will have the below essential qualities : Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and / or Canva.Certificate or diploma in graphic design, communications, marketing, or any relevant field of study.Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Linktree, etc.).

Understanding of Mailchimp, SurveyMonkey, or similar.Skilled in creating content and reels, as well as managing content calendars.Able to manage daily and weekly deadlines.Willing to visit various sites and events around Otautahi for coverage.Positive attitude towards handling sudden jobs or events.Basic photography skills.Understanding of a Kaupapa Maori environment.We offer experience with web design (front and back end), UX, publications, and other media, branding, marketing, advertising, social media, kaupapa Maori, tikanga, Te Reo Maori, MS Office, Canva, WordPress, Wix, Mailchimp, SurveyMonkey, and / or similar.Applications and inquiries : For more information about this role, call Gonz Navarro on
