Head of Innovation, Fats

Overview

Korn Ferry has been engaged to appoint a Head of Innovation, Fats for a leading New Zealand based dairy company. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation in growth mode, and to contribute to its innovation agenda

Technical background

Strong foundation in R&D / innovation in fats-related products (Cheese, Butter, Cream, etc.); experience in dairy innovation and functional ingredient development

Industry experience

Dairy, food, or nutrition-related sectors; understanding of process and product development in B2B or B2C context

Insight & foresight

Ability to track and translate industry and scientific trends into actionable R&D direction

Collaboration

Cross-functional partnership with marketing, operations, regulatory, and external research networks

Team leadership

Lead a team of ~5 technical staff; coach and build capability in applied science and product development
