Assistant Research Fellow - Cardiology Research UnitApplications are invited for a part-time, fixed-term position of Assistant Research Fellow (ARF) within the Department of Medicine, Dunedin School of Medicine.
It is an exciting opportunity to work on research projects within the Cardiology Research Unit.The ARF will be expected to : Provide high quality research support and coordination of cardiology research.Recruit, contact, and assess study participants, where appropriate.Assist in the preparation of research funding proposals, data analysis, interpretation of results, and to be involved in drafting papers for publication.Provide administrative assistance to the cardiology research unit, including liaison with biostatistical consultants and Te Whatu Ora staff as required.Skills and experience | Ka pukeka me ka wheako The successful applicant will have : Excellent interpersonal skills.Relevant research qualification.Knowledge of cardiovascular science and / or research.Data analysis experience and project management skills.Experience in cardiovascular research is preferable.DetailsThis is a part-time (0.3 FTE), fixed-term position for one year based in Otepoti, Dunedin.You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this position.The appointment range for this role is $62,496 to $84,125 per annum (pro-rata).
