We are dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment, striving for excellence in sports, arts, and cultural activities.We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced educator who has extensive expertise in teaching outdoor education classes including ideally holding NZOIA qualifications and the ability to teach physical education to a junior level.The vacancy is covering staff who have been deployed elsewhere in the school, from the beginning of term 1, 2025 for the whole year.The successful candidate must be a New Zealand registered teacher, skilled in creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere and contributing to our welcoming and supportive school community.Involvement in our extracurricular programme will be advantageous.ResponsibilitiesTeach outdoor education classes with extensive expertise; ideally NZOIA qualifications.Teach physical education to a junior level.Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere and to the school community.Participate in the school's extracurricular programme (advantageous).
