Massey University - Te Kunenga ki Purehuroa's prestigious School of Nursing is seeking to appoint a professional clinician who is enthusiastic and has relevant clinical teaching experience in pre-registration nursing programmes.
The applicant will have experience in primary health care, acute and long-term condition management, and in teaching in blended learning environments, including online, clinical labs, and clinical placement settings.
The position is a permanent ongoing role, 1.0 FTE (nominally 37.5 hours per week).
The location for this role is the Wellington campus.
Te whiwhinga mahi - The opportunity
The professional clinician position will see you provide excellent teaching and clinical supervision in pre-registration nursing programmes - Bachelor of Nursing (BN) and Master of Clinical Practice (MCP).
You will support the BN and MCP programmes to meet the Nursing Council New Zealand programme standards for competency in nursing education.
Your professional knowledge and expertise will contribute to developing the curriculum.
You will engage with hospital and health services, primary and community organisations, iwi and Maori providers, and other stakeholders to promote nursing and Massey University.
The salary range is from Professional Clinician Step 1 $86,113 to Step 9 $109,901
Salary will be negotiable based on background and experience.
