About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will utilise specialist nursing knowledge and expertise to provide patient centred care, across the continuum of care, to optimise the patients journey, improve equitable health outcomes and ensure excellent quality of care is provided to patients and whanau requiring Urology care.
You will provide expert clinical guidance on pessary care by combining evidence-based womens health knowledge with a Maori-centred approach that upholds tikanga, whanaungatanga, and equity.
This means educating patients / whanau and staff not only on pessary use and management, but also embedding cultural safety, shared decision-making, and quality improvement into everyday unit practice.

About you
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you are skilled in building rapport and relating well to others, fostering harmonious and supportive working relationships, and promoting teamwork and cooperation with a positive attitude.
New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificateAt least 7 years post registration experienceRelevant Post Graduate Diploma in specialty areaAt least 3 years experience in relevant specialty areaDesignated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)Knowledge of quality improvement processes and principlesFull New Zealand driving licenceMasters degree or working towards is desiredWorking at Health New Zealand
