This is a critical role at our CHH Plywood millwhere you’ll actively build sound relationships with our site team to determinequality information and planning systems.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll betasked with driving results through determining quality information andplanning systems to enable effective and timely decisions for predictive,preventative and breakdown services. You’ll develop and maintain maintenanceplans and systems including the site Computerised Maintenance Management System(CMMS) and actively analyse and report on the maintenance team’s performancealong with recommendations for improvements.
You will likely be :
- Trade Qualified
- Have a broad appreciation of medium to heavy manufacturing and mechanical processes
- Have a solid amount of maintenance planning experience behind you
- Knowledge of Excel and overall systems knowledge including SAP (ideally) or experience with computer-based maintenance management systems
- Exposure in a process maintenance environment
- Working knowledge of maintenance best practice and efficient planning operations
- Experience in estimating and scheduling shutdown work and co-ordinating tasks and labour
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical ability and organisational skills
- An understanding of RCM principles and othermaintenance strategy tools
- Preparing and reporting against maintenance budgets
