The opportunity :
As the Business Development Manager - Aligned Advice at AIA New Zealand, your purpose is to drive profitable sales and growth by recruiting and retaining top advisers, while providing critical market insights and feedback. You will develop and deliver innovative Vitality sales tools and campaigns, ensuring stakeholders are well-educated and productivity is optimised. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will build strong relationships and proactively address service issues, contributing to strategic projects. You will support business development by understanding adviser objectives, assisting in planning, and identifying growth opportunities. Through comprehensive training and facilitation, you will enhance adviser skills and ensure compliance with conduct and culture requirements.
Key responsibilities include :
- Sales Management : Generate profitable sales, meet production targets, recruit and retain advisers, and provide market feedback and analysis.
- Vitality Coaching : Develop and deliver Vitality sales tools, presentations, and campaigns, while educating stakeholders and optimising productivity.
- Service and Culture : Act as a brand ambassador, build strong relationships, address service issues proactively, and assist in projects.
- Business Development : Contribute to sales planning, understand adviser objectives, assist in annual planning, and identify growth opportunities.
- Training and Facilitation : Ensure new entrants complete training, identify and fill supervision gaps, and enhance adviser skills through Coach Club sessions.
- Systems and Processes : Record sales activity, generate and analyse reports, submit expense reports, and perform administrative tasks.
- Risk, Conduct and Culture : Manage risk, handle adviser complaints, ensure compliance with Conduct and Culture requirements, and support investigations.
