Job description

We are currently on the lookout for an exceptional People & Culture Consultant (HR Advisor) to create value for our internal customers by providing advice, HR consultancy, and people insights across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Our People & Culture team ensures that our people have the tools, capabilities, physical environment and culture they need to be their best. You will be joining a high-performing team and we pride ourselves on being very supportive, collaborative and kind. We embrace flexible working options and are therefore looking for the right candidate who will thrive working a mix of days from home and from our Suncorp office.

Please note this is a part-time position, 4 days per week on a fixed term contract until January 2025.

Your key areas of focus will include :

  • Delivering and implementing projects across the People & Culture team.
  • Supporting leaders in performance management and other employment relations scenarios.
  • Working collaboratively with HR and business leaders to deliver organisational change initiatives.
  • Supporting the facilitation of core HR activities across the employee lifecycle and recommending and implementing process improvement opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2 years’ experience at HR Advisor level
  • Experience in project deployment
  • Sound experience supporting routine and complex employment relations matters
  • Previous experience with organisational change activities preferably within a large organisation
  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills
  • Continuous improvement and customer-focused mindset
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related discipline desired
