Early Childhood Kaiako

Full time, fixed-term position starting on 07 / 07 / 2025 and ending on 19 / 12 / 2025.

This role involves covering while a teacher leads a transitioning program.

Position : Certificated teacher for primary and intermediate levels (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi.

Rose Ring Kindergarten seeks an enthusiastic kaiako, preferably with Waldorf / Steiner qualifications.

We offer a full-time, fixed-term early childhood teaching position within a friendly team of passionate kaiako, starting July 7, 2025.

The tamariki attend one of four groups, aged 3 to 6 years.

The kindergarten is part of Tauranga Waldorf School, located in a rural setting, operating 49 weeks per year.

The ideal candidate will have a current practising certificate, an interest in child development, and :

Preferably Waldorf experience / qualifications

A collaborative approach and openness to new horizons

Good communication and time management skills
