At HEB, our Project Managers play a pivotal part in contract management, financial performance, and growing our presence in the region.

You'll be hands-on across every stage of project lifecycle, from tendering and pricing to delivery, handover, and business development.You'll work across a range of heavy civil disciplines including pavements, 3 water / drainage, and large-scale earthworks.

If you enjoy building strong relationships, both with clients and within your team, and want to make a mark in regional civil infrastructure, this is your chance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project delivery across heavy civil infrastructure works (tendering, project planning, execution, and close-out).Manage budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and contract administration (NZS3910) including variations and claims.Coordinate subcontractors and internal resources to ensure delivery excellence.Maintain strong commercial discipline and identify project risks and opportunities early, including supporting regional business development.Champion health, safety, environmental and quality performance on site.Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities to ensure alignment and satisfaction.What You'll BringProven project management experience in heavy civil infrastructure (ideally 5+ years).Strong understanding of NZ construction standards and methodologies.A collaborative leadership style and passion for developing people.Relevant tertiary qualification (Engineering, Construction Management or similar).Eligibility to work in New Zealand.Why Join Us?Join a supportive, tight-knit regional team backed by national capability.Competitive salary package (plus vehicle, phone, and laptop).Health, Injury, and Life insurance included.Birthday off.Increased KiwiSaver employer contribution after 2 years' of service.Boost!
