Senior Test Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our team by undertaking a range of responsibilities including :Test and assure quality in leading BI tools (PowerBI, Databricks, SSRS, Qlik Sense)Plan, document, and report on testing activitiesUse automation and test frameworks to streamline regression testing in modern cloud environmentsAssess reporting solutions for accuracy, data quality, and business requirementsCollaborate with developers and business teams to deliver robust solutionsIdentify and resolve data issues, supporting continuous improvementContribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance practices within the I&A teamBuild strong relationships across the business and with external partnersYou will find a copy of the Position Description .koe tenei | About youTo thrive in this role, you'll need to demonstrate a strong blend of technical expertise, practical experience, and interpersonal skills, including :5+ years' testing experience across diverse projectsAdvanced SQL skills - ETL experience preferredStrong understanding of data warehouse concepts (star schema, data vault)Experience in defect management and test automation toolsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamRelevant tertiary qualification or comparable experienceYou will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.The purpose of our group as a trusted advisor and working with others, is to :
