Job Description Are you a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting high-performing teams?
We're looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our forward-thinking compliance team, based in our award-winning Auckland CBD office.
This role focuses on AML / CFT compliance, and risk management.
Reporting to the Compliance and Operations Program Manager, with a dotted line to other teams, you will provide additional support across AML processes, conducting customer due diligence, and maintaining strong compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities Utilise workflow management platforms to conduct customer due diligence (CDD / ECDD).
Review onboarding documentation and verify client identity and beneficial ownership.
Maintain AML / CFT registers, records, and audit trails.
Respond to AML-related queries from brokers and clients.
Conduct quality assurance testing on AML processes and recommend improvements.
Follow up with clients on missing or adverse information.
Monitor transactions and manage AML / CFT processes.
Assess Source of Wealth / Source of Funds documentation for adequacy under the AML / CFT Act.
Assist with property listings and conduct brand compliance audits.
Qualifications Proven experience in a compliance, risk, or AML environment - ideally within the real estate industry.
Strong understanding of AML / CFT regulatory obligations.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
The ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
A professional and personable manner, with a positive attitude and the ability to see the bigger picture.
Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or law is desirable but not essential.
