Flight Line Maintenance Tradesperson

The opportunity
As a Flight line tradesperson, you will work closely with the customer, Tech Leads and staff within the specific work area to ensure successful launch and recovery of aircraft to and from the flight line apron and conducting aircraft Pre, Through and Post flight maintenance inspections and refuelling. Reporting to the Team Lead Maintenance, you will be part of a wider team assisting with the successful delivery of serviced RNZAF T-6 Texan aircraft to the Royal New Zealand Airforce (RNZAF).

This position operates under a shift work structure to meet the requirements of the customer contract. As such there will regularly be a requirement for you to work a rotating shift pattern (early commencing at 6am, late commencing at 1pm, and the occasional later shift commencing at 3pm) to support RNZAF flying programs.
About you
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.
