About the Role : Site Manager, Canterbury

With a strong pipeline of projects in Canterbury, Cook Brothers Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of diverse and challenging builds. This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects that push your skills, provide professional growth and make a tangible impact on high-value construction works.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Trade Partners and your site time to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget and to the highest quality. Your leadership will drive clear communication, effective risk management, budget control, and adherence to construction methodology, codes, policies and procedures.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of demonstrated commercial construction experience, managing projects valued over $10 million. A trade background is a must and experience on medical centres or hospital projects will be an advantage. You will bring strong programme and planning, management skills, proven leadership, and the ability to guide and mentor your team, whilst not shying about from having those tough conversations.

You thrive on collaboration, celebrate and ring the gong for team successes, and are confident navigating challenges to keep projects on track. A high level of Health and Safety leadership, compliance awareness and solid IT proficiency are essential.
