About the role
We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse join our fabulous team at Karori Village in Karori, Wellington to support our residents living with Dementia.
Permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday from 7am to 3.30 pm.
This is a hands- on, on the floor role, in our Dementia Unit.

Some of the great things you will be doing
Supporting, identifying, and upskilling the needs and requirements of the care staff, as well as providing appropriate direction and delegation
Using your clinical skills to access and identify the needs of our residents to be able to formulate / review individual care plans.
Ensure compassionate and excellent quality of care is provided to all residents.
Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
Working closely with the Care Manager to undertake risk management, quality projects and improvements
Supporting the Care Manager with rostering staff and managing the on-call roster
About you
We are looking for an experience Senior Registered Nurse who can deliver outstanding services to our residents and possess the essential skills and experience :
Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
Strong nursing experience in aged care
Current InterRai certification.
Experience working in secure Dementia level of care
Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills.
