Sacred Heart Girls' College (Ham) Waikato is seeking an experienced physical education and health teacher to move into a middle leadership role as acting Leader of Learning : Physical Education & Health.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting 28 / 01 / 2026 and ending 27 / 01 / 2027 (maternity leave).

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura; Health and physical education; 3MU + 1MMA
Responsibilities
Contribute to schoolwide strategic development with a sound, evidence-based understanding of effective pedagogy.
Collaborate effectively and influence meaningful and sustainable change.
Coach and mentor staff across the Physical Education and Health Learning Area.
Qualifications and requirements
Current NZ practising certificate.
Experience in physical education and health; readiness for middle leadership or diversification of leadership opportunities.
