Openshift Architect - Green Light

12-Month Assignment (with potential to extend) Auckland based – Onsite 3 days per week (CBD location) Immediate start preferred Green Light Worldwide have a requirement with our client partner for OpenShift (ARO) Architect to join their team on a 12-month assignment.

Responsibilities : Act as a trusted advisor within the customer's IT team, providing architectural leadership and guidance.

Influence key stakeholders to adopt Azure OpenShift (ARO) as the migration target platform.

Support the planning and execution of migrating OpenShift workloads from on-premises bare metal clusters to Azure OpenShift.

Provide input into long-term technology roadmaps, cloud strategy, and hybrid deployment models.

Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities during the transformation program.

Collaborate with external vendor partners (HPE, Infosys, Nokia, Microsoft) to align architecture with broader enterprise outcomes.

Report progress, challenges, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Requirements : Mandatory : Must be Auckland-based and available to be onsite 3 days per week.

Hands-on experience with Azure OpenShift (ARO).

Experience with hybrid cloud deployment models and OpenShift migrations.

Strong architectural and influencing skills, with the ability to drive technology direction.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Ability to operate at both technical and strategic levels.

Telco industry experience is not required, but experience in large-scale enterprise transformations is highly regarded.
