A Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant at Summerset is more than just a cleaner. You're a quiet hero behind the scenes — keeping our village fresh, homely, and dignified for the people who live here.

We’re looking for a hardworking, caring Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant to join our warm and welcoming St Johns village team . This role is all about making sure our residents feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home.

As a Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant, you'll be a key part of creating a clean, uplifting, and homelike environment for residents, their whānau, and fellow team members.

Your day-to-day activities will include :

• Ensuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, laundry, and kitchen facilities
• Laundering, folding and returning residents’ clothing and linens with care and attention
• Labelling, mending and maintaining residents' personal laundry items
• Supporting infection control measures and health and safety procedures
• Building friendly, respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needs

This is a casual role, working on an as and when basis.
