# Community Health Nurse For Wellington Central Community Mental Health Team
Location :
Thisposition is expected to work from the Wellington Home Base in Adelaide Road andin the Wellington Community.

The Wellington Central Community Mental Health Team has anexciting opportunity for aCommunity Nurse position for this area of practice.
About the Team / Service Location
Wellington Central Community Mental Health Team is amultidisciplinary team supporting tangata whaiora in the WellingtonCommunity. We strive to provideassessment and treatment that fits the range of needs we encounter and developpartnerships with the wider social sector.Our base is located in Mount Cook / Newtown, very close tocentral Wellington. We share office space with the Wellington South CMHT, andCommunity Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS) is located on the floor below. Thismakes for a thriving, exciting work environment with staff across teamsmutually supporting one another. We have a good working relationship with otherservices in the local community, and we routinely work closely with NGOs andprimary care.
About you
Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ).
A current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
Completion of an undergraduate (leading to registration) or post graduate program in mental health or intellectual disability nursing.
You understand the importance of cultural competence and equity, providing practice that is consistent with the spirit and intent of Te Tiriti ō Waitangi.
A commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori.
A personal commitment to on-going learning and development including attainment / maintenance of PDRP.
You are mindful of the needs of our diverse population, for instance, Pacific peoples, refugee and migrant communities, disabled people / tāngata whaikaha, rainbow communities, and those living in rural areas / isolated from health services.
Full drivers licence.
