Web Developer

Overview

Melia Marketing & Design is seeking a versatile Web Developer & Designer to join our creative team in Christchurch.

We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of design and development, creating websites that are visually stunning, user-focused, and technically sound.

You’ll collaborate closely with our design and marketing teams to build and maintain custom websites, landing pages, and digital experiences across a wide range of industries and platforms.

Please note : Applicants must be based in Christchurch and be happy to work in a hybrid role, coming into the office occasionally for team collaboration and project meetings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging, responsive websites and landing pages that align with client goals.
• Translate Figma designs into fully functional, optimised websites using Webflow, WordPress, or custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to bring creative concepts to life.
• Manage multiple projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring transparent communication and on-time delivery.
• Maintain and update existing client sites, introducing improvements and new features as needed.
• Use Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace for collaboration and project tracking.
