OverviewA Laboratory Technician in our Micronutrients department is available to join our growing organisation.
This role involves working as part of a team to support continuity of production and ensure high standards of safety and quality.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and operate analytical instrumentation.Ensure safe operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and processes.Participate in initial laboratory commissioning and method validation of analytical tests.Contribute to ensuring compliance in all processes and provide input into process improvement initiatives.QualificationsTertiary Qualification in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science or equivalent.Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Accredited Analytical Laboratory.Strong quality focus with ability to understand and adhere to documented Standard Operating Procedures and instructions.Who we areOceania Dairy (ODL) is a dairy manufacturing plant located in Glenavy, South Canterbury, with a diverse workforce of 400 staff, specializing in Milk Powder (adult and infant formula) and UHT milk.
