Production Operator

Oji Fibre Solutions is New Zealand’s leading manufacturer of pulp, paperand suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughoutthe country. Our Penrose Paper Mill isbased in Penrose, Auckland and operates 24 hours per day 365 days of the year.We produce 100% recycled fluting for the use in box manufacture.

We are seeking to appoint a Production Operator on rotating 12-hour shifts(day / night) average 42 hours per week.

Reporting to the ShiftForeman at our Penrose Mill, this role is an entry level position intomanufacturing processes, as well as providing back up for the front end loader. Reliability and conscientious commitment to theteam and quality of work output is essential. Actively demonstrate and maintainsafe behaviours to ensure a safe working environment.

To be successful in thisrole, you must have good problem-solving skills, be on time and reliable and thewillingness to further themselves.

Ideal attributes and skillsrequired :

• Level 1NZQA would be desirable
• Computerliterate
• Logicalproblem solver, quick decision maker, ability to run machinery to its fullpotential
• Customer focussed and goal orientated
• Preferencefor previous shift work experience.
