Nestled in the heart of the King Country in the Central North Island, along the scenic Forgotten World Highway, Tokirima School is seeking a passionate and adaptable teacher to join our small but thriving community.

We are a well-resourced, full primary school with a roll of 33 children (Y1–8) taught across 2–3 multilevel classrooms (FTTE 2.99). This is a rare opportunity to teach in a unique environment where every child is known and valued.

• Have strengths in structured literacy and numeracy (or be willing to learn)
• Be a happy, positive, enthusiastic presence who engages and inspires our children
• Be flexible, collaborative, and comfortable working in multilevel settings
• Willingness to learn or grow skills in inclusive education (special needs, gifted, Tier 2 / 3 interventions)
• Experience in the Better Start Literacy Approach or similar, or a willingness to undertake BSLA training is desirable.
