Storeperson (Easysteel, Rotorua)

We have a great development opportunity based in Rotorua for a team player who can work well under pressure, has excellent communication skills and a great sense of humour.

This role is Monday to Friday, 6am to 2.30pm (weekends off!).

The basic day to day of a Storeperson here at EasySteel, Rotorua involves :

6am – 9am – Unloading and reloading trucks for delivery.

9am – 2.30pm - Warehouse Duties (Checking off stock, picking orders, cutting steel on Bandsaw, identifying materials for transfers, dealing with customer collections, using drop saw to prepare orders for collection)

About you

Experience with Overhead Gantry Cranes, with relevant licenses preferable, training may be provided to the right candidate.

Comfortable with lifting goods up to 25kg, often long lengths of steel are manually handled when dealing with walk in customers.

An understanding of Warehousing and storage of Materials.

Bandsaw machine operations – General use, Cleaning, Basic maintenance, Health and Safety.

Strong attention to detail

A keenness to learn new skills as your role develops, attitude essential.
