Record manufacturing processes accurately and in real-time in batch manufacturing records, following SOP standards.
Ensure production plant hygiene and housekeeping are always maintained.
Take full responsibility for the manufacture of products as delegated by the Production Team Leaders and Supervisor(s).
Actively participate in the implementation and compliance of Standard Operating Procedures.
Carry out duties as requested and required in the manufacture of any Company product.
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the performance of the activities associated with the cell culture product manufacturing process.
Update SOPs, batch sheets, and Hazard IDs as required.
Abide by EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment for all.
Communicate production issues to the Production Supervisor and / or Team Leader as they arise.
Working Conditions : Works in a processing lab and in a controlled clean environment including : Working in clean processing labs.
Working in wet conditions.
Working with a laminar flow cabinet.
Working in a storeroom or refrigerated environment (up to -20°C).
Following appropriate gowning and safety procedures.
Working with animal blood and blood-derived products.
Physical fitness, comfortable lifting weights up to 15kg on a routine basis and having no allergic reaction to alcohol or chlorine-based sanitizers.
Able to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials and be flexible around hours of work.
