About the role
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join their team based in Otahuhu, South Auckland. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate and excellent benefits.
What you'll be doing
- Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems and equipment, including motors, transformers, and control panels
- Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Fault finding / troubleshooting of electrical devices / systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and technicians to ensure the overall success of projects
- Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
What we're looking for
Full New Zealand Electrical Registration with a current practicing licenceProven experience in fault finding and servicing of electrical devices / systemsThe ability to work productively in a safe and healthy manner either autonomously or within a teamCurrent full NZ driver’s licenceGood communication abilities to interact with clients and team membersThe right to work and live in New ZealandA commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all relevant safety protocolsWhat’s on offer
