  • About the role :

    We are looking for multiple enthusiastic Casual Kitchen Assistant  to work at Southland Hospital. Hours will be as and when required.

    Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities :

    In this position;

    • You will be working as part of a team serving food on the tray line
    • Ensuring hygiene and washing dishes
    • You will be ensuring that all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
    • Assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties
    • He kōrero mōu / About you :

      If you're our ideal candidate;

    • You will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
    • Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167).
    • You will have superior customer service skills
    • Most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
