About the Role
- Lead discovery work to uncover customer problems, identify opportunities, and inform experience strategy through research, workshops, and co‑design.
- Translate insights into concepts, user flows, and prototypes to test hypotheses and validate assumptions, building confidence in recommended solutions.
- Design engaging wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UX / UI for mobile apps, ensuring consistency with our design system and delivering solutions that are desirable for customers and feasible for engineering to achieve key business metrics.
- Apply systems thinking and design thinking techniques to shape offerings that connect digital experiences and features seamlessly, anticipating customer needs and enabling a cohesive journey across our digital ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Content Designers, Accessibility specialists, and Legal / Risk throughout the agile lifecycle.
- Champion customer‑centricity and accessibility, advocating for best‑in‑class mobile experiences at every stage of product development, ensuring experiences are usable by all customers through accessibility and inclusivity.
- Contribute to experience strategy and roadmap discussions, grounding decisions in customer insights, design thinking, behavioural data, and a test‑and‑learn mindset.
- Facilitate and participate in design critiques, workshops, and agile ceremonies, providing and receiving actionable feedback.
- Help evolve our design system for consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
- Measure and validate impact post‑launch using qualitative and quantitative insights to iterate and improve solutions.
About You
7+ years’ experience designing digital products end‑to‑end in cross‑functional teams.Proven ability to lead discovery and delivery activities with customers, product, and engineering stakeholders.Deep understanding of human‑centred design methodologies and their pragmatic application in agile environments.Expert interaction and UI design skills for mobile apps (iOS and Android), with an eye for detail and craft.Experience designing for complex systems and services, not just isolated features.Strong collaboration and communication skills — comfortable sketching ideas with engineers and presenting concepts to executives.Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and a basic understanding of front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, components, design tokens).Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity, balancing customer needs with business goals.Experience with metrics‑driven product development (e.g., experiments, A / B testing, usage funnels).A portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end product design thinking, craft, and measurable impact.Financial services experience is a plus, but not essential.Exposure to design systems management and contribution is desirable.Passion for mentoring and uplifting design craft is a bonus.How to Apply
