About the Role
We are seeking a Scientific Field Technician who has scientific qualifications, previous experience in a commercial business, and a strong work ethic.
The role involves traveling from site to site to complete a range of scientific services that will be taught over time.
Key responsibilities include assessment, investigation, and collection of samples, engaging with site contacts, and entering data on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Attend sites across the Canterbury region
Assessment, investigation, and the collection of samples
Enter survey information and report on-site using our systems
Engage with clients and site contacts
Assess and conduct safe working procedures in potentially hazardous environments
Travel within Canterbury as required
Requirements
New Zealand citizen or valid work visa
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Science, Environmental Science, or similar
Professional English language proficiency
Strong experience working with customers
Competent with technology
Current, full New Zealand driver's licence
High ability to follow and understand instructions
