As the Building Compliance Team Leader, you will lead a team responsible for monitoring, advising, and enforcing compliance with the Building Act
You will work alongside a like-minded leadership team, supported by the Manager Building Solutions, combining technical expertise, regulatory leadership, and a strong commitment to public safety and service excellence.Responsibilities include : leading and supporting a small team of building compliance officersconducting investigations with a customer-focused approachmaintaining excellent records and reports on compliance investigations and inspectionsmanaging inspections for swimming pools, amusement devices, and earthquake-prone buildingsproviding expert advice on technical matters and legislative changesundertaking enforcement actions under relevant legislationissuing documentation under the Building Act
