• About the role
• In this role you will work alongside the incumbent Nurse Educator to advance clinical skills, plan and implement workshops, facilitate mandatory training and simulation activities and support professional development.We are looking for a Nurse Educator to step into this part-time, permanent role to continue to support new and existing staff within Lakes District Hospital with the provision of education, training and resources that ensure practice is current, evidence based and fit for purpose.A born communicator and collaborator with the inherent ability to build successful working relationships, this role will see you working alongside nurses, medical colleagues as well as other educators within the wider PDU team to provide practice and professional development opportunities that enhance service delivery, quality and safety alongside improved patient outcomes.Participating in the recruitment of new nurses, developing and implementing their orientation programme is all part of the job.
