The Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Grounds and Garden Maintenance Assistant to join our team at one of New Zealand's leading secondary schools, known for its beautiful campus and commitment to excellence. This role is essential in ensuring our extensive grounds and gardens remain attractive, functional, and safe throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance of lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas.
• Operate and maintain grounds equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.).
• Support seasonal planting, pruning, and landscaping projects.
• Ensure pathways and outdoor spaces are clean and hazard‑free.
• Work collaboratively with the Property team to complete tasks efficiently.
