We are a Chinese restaurant seeking a professional Chinese Chef to join our team.
Location : Auckland, New Zealand
Hours per week : Minimum 30 hours
Employment type : Full-time, permanent
Hourly rate : $25 per hour
Main Responsibilities :
- Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and order food supplies
- Monitor the quality of dishes during all stages of preparation and presentation
- Discuss food preparation and service matters with managers and kitchen staff
- Demonstrate techniques and advise on cooking procedures
- Prepare and cook authentic Chinese cuisine
- Explain and enforce hygiene and safety regulations
- Assist in selecting and training kitchen staff
- May freeze and preserve foods
Requirements :
