About the Role
Whangarei Hospital is the largest hospital in Te Tai Tokerau providing secondary care services, supported by three regional / rural hospitals in Kaitaia, Kawakawa and Dargaville.
The Cancer and Blood department provides a comprehensive Oncology outpatient service across Te Tai Tokerau.
Whilst pre-dominantly based at the Whangarei Hospital, you will have frequent opportunities to travel and work in the rural areas of Northland.
We are looking Medical Oncologists to join our team to provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients with cancer, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

About you
Applicants for this position must be Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Medical Oncology or equivalent and hold, or be eligible for, vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
Applicants must also have demonstrated clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within our multi-disciplinary teams.
