Mo te turanga mahi | About the role
The Senior Service Designer leads the design and delivery of service improvements across the Ministry, using service design expertise to enhance internal systems, processes, and tools.
You will be part of the Transformation and Change team, which is focused on transforming the organisation and making our internal systems and processes more efficient for everyone.
This role plays a key part in shaping the Ministry's transformation journey and enabling kaimahi to focus on what matters most.
Working alongside the Service Design Leads you will build strong relationships across the Business and Transformation Services group and the wider Ministry, working closely with internal kaimahi to understand their needs and to identify pain points and collaboratively develop new ways of working that will delight our internal "customers".
Through collaboration, you'll help develop and implement new ways of working that better align people, processes and technology to deliver seamless, customer centred services.

Salary range for this role is $110,501 to $134,128 pa.
Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
